The more I travel, the more practicality and comfort come into play. When I’m on shorter flights, I might take some liberties with my wardrobe, but on a four-hour flight like the one I took to Chicago recently, I want to make smart sartorial choices. However, let us remember that practical doesn’t have to be boring.
For instance, this outfit is made up of a lot of basic wardrobe must-haves like a gray t-shirt, black skinny jeans, and a denim jacket. Basic, some might say. But I took it to the next level with a bit of flair via enamel pins and a patch. I also had some fun with my footwear by opting for colorful and comfy sneakers! I also added an assortment of small jewelry pieces such as earrings and rings; nothing that would set of those pesky TSA machines, of course! It was also a great opportunity to rock this amazing cuff that conceals a pair of wireless ear buds!
These ear buds were super handy to have stylishly wrapped around my wrist while waiting to board and on my flight. I just popped the cuff onto my wrist after getting through the security checkpoint. That way I could listen to my audio books, podcasts, and music without having to bend over in my cramped airplane seat to dig through my carry-on tote bag.
