For some reason I was drawn to this burgundy color I’ve had in my polish arsenal for a long time. It seemed fitting to pair it with a technique I haven’t used in a while, stamping! If you’re not familiar with it, this process involves transferring a design from a metal plate to your nail with a silicone stamp. It’s pretty easy to get the hang of, too! Minimal effort for maximum impact!
I chose a stamping plate with some floral lace on it; mine is sold out, but you can find a similar one here. I transferred the image to two nails with a nude base coat. On one nail, I left a tiny amount of empty space. Last, I used a small detail brush to paint a thin border around the outside of each nail. I polished the rest of my nails with the same burgundy polish. The final step, as usual, is my favorite top coat.
If you’re new to nail art stamping and want to give it a try, you can purchase a starter kit for as low as $5! You’ll also want some plates so scroll down to check out some of my picks. And don’t forget to enter my latest giveaway below!
