October is here and that means it’s time for some Halloween nail art! Not sure what you want to rock on your digits this haunting season, I’ve got your back with a round-up of spooktacular designs. These designs come from the years I’ve been doing my own nails and it’s kind of funny to see the shape of my nails go from square to squoval to oval. Read on to see all six designs.
For the minimalist who still wants a touch of Halloween spirit, this design incorporates a tiny pumpkin and a bit of spider web over a black and white base.
Mixed Halloween Prints
This one is honestly one of my all time favorite nail designs I ever created, using a different Halloween print on each nail. I used a decal for the pumpkin and spider web designs, but hand painted the Frankenstein-esque, bloody print, and candy corn designs.
Spooky Shadow & Slime
With a subtle nod to Halloween, I used a water marbling technique to swirl and layer black and neon green polish over a white base. It reminds me of the swirling shadows, ectoplasm, and monster slime you seen in scary movies.
The spider web is a surprisingly easy design to achieve and has big impact. For this one, I used a textured finish polish to paint a webbed design on a pair of accent nails. It’s minimalist without being too basic.
This minimalist design is good as just general fall nail art. One hand-painted pumpkin peeks onto a single nail over a greige base color. Bonus, this one doesn’t take long to do!
World Wide Webbed
As previously mentioned, I’m a big fan of the spider web design when it comes to Halloween nail art. I also love black and white designs, so this one is a double win for me! Not to mention it’s pretty easy to do.
Not up for DIY designs this season? I rounded up a few decals, stamps, and stickers to help you create your perfect Halloween design!
