If you’ve been following my nail art for any length of time, you’re probably well aware that triangles are favored trend with my designs. For my latest creation, I combined a variety of triangle designs with a bit of negative space. I used one of my favorite nude polishes, Rue by Zoya, as the base color with triangle accents in a metallic silver polish, Aurora by Julep. To paint the edges and triangles, I used a short, thin detail brush with soft, light strokes. As always, my final step is a coat of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat. Voila! Metallic triangle nail art, all hand painted!
To achieve the multi-triangle design on the ring finger, I suggest starting with evenly spaced horizontal lines. Next, you can draw diagonal lines to create rows of triangles. Last, carefully fill in all the triangles facing the same direction. It’s a lot easier than you might think! I generally recommend this design for colors that contrast a lot more, but I like the subtlety this color combo achieved.
