My latest nail art design incorporating rose gold marble makes my heart so happy. It uses a couple of my favorite polishes, a rose gold called Pastorale from NARS and a white called Blanc from Essie. Keep reading to get tips on recreating this look for yourself!
I started with two coats of white on every nail except for my ring fingers, where I used the rose gold. On my pinky and thumb nails, I used a striping brush to carefully paint a thin stripe across the middle.
For the marble design, I scrunched up some plastic wrap and lightly dipped it into some rose gold polish. I lightly tapped the plastic wrap onto the nail with random placement each tap. Then I used a thin detail brush to draw lines to connect some of the larger splotches in a marbled fashion. Pro tip: If you need inspiration while doing this part, pull up a photo of marble and try to imitate what you see. When I’m trying a new design for the first time, I usually like to practice on an acrylic nail wheel until I feel comfortable enough to commit to my nails.
As always, finish up your dried design with a coat or two of top coat. You can add another coat of top coat every two to three days to make your work last longer.
Full confession, I loved this rose gold marble design so much that I did it two weeks in a row! It was just as easy and fun the second time!
