I remember when I scored these blue velvet booties last season I was beyond stoked. They were hard to get your hands on because each restock went so fast. Not only did they bring they bring them back again this season, but they made the cutest little miniature version for tiny fashionistas. When I saw them, I knew I immediately needed to get them for Avery. She got so excited about matching mama that I took it a step further and pulled out my dress and her top with a matching floral print.
I love this shift dress because it fits my growing bump (currently 25 weeks) even though it’s non-maternity. The ruffle sleeves and soft fabric don’t hurt, either. Avery’s matching top is great because the peplum is longer in the back and covers her bottom. That’s perfect when I pair it with leggings.
My velvet booties have a great heel height and are comfy for all-day wear. Avery was quick to notice her booties didn’t have as quite as high of a heel as mine but was pleased that she had even a tiny heel. Oh man, I sure love that she seems to love fashion as much as I do!
My look, head to toe: Lips – YSL babydoll kiss & blush \\ Floral print sheath dress – Old Navy \\ Gucci Marmont Matelasse Bag \\ Rose gold petite classic watch – c/o Daniel Wellington \\ Blue velvet booties – Old Navy
Now knowing how much she loves “twinning” with me, I’ve going to have to start finding more matching outfits for us. What’s your favorite spot for mommy and me looks? Let me know in the comments!
